Liquid level sensors act as liquid level switches to detect the presence or absence of any liquid or oil in a container or in a pipe. Like a switch, either liquid is detected at the tip of the sensor or it is not. Because they must survive in harsh environments, liquid level sensors and switches are solid state, and are designed to last for many years.
Different models of liquid level sensors are available with different housing material and thread depths, input voltage and current, output type and logic, and operating temperature ranges depending on your requirements.
While GasLab stocks the most popular models of liquid level sensors, with over 175 variations we don't stock them all. The model selection guide (pdf) explains the differences to help you pick the liquid level sensor that is right for your application. Once you've decided on a particular sensor, you can review this list of all models available (pdf) then send us a requests for quote. Expect 2-3 weeks for delivery.
